Hello Families of St. Patrick,
My name is Tim Conrad and I have been blessed to join St. Patrick School! I am a prodigy of Catholic education as a student and as a teacher. I graduated from St. Mary's - Colgan High School in Pittsburg Kansas and began my teaching career in the mid to late 80s at Bishop Ward High School. My wife, Robin, and I are proud parents of 3 daughters: Jessica 32 years old, Caitlyn 30 years old, Morgan 28 years old, and 1 son, Titus 14 years old. We are also the proud grandparents of 2 grandsons: Derx 4 years old and Duke 2 years old. All three daughters are college graduates, with two of them receiving degrees from The University of Saint Mary and 1 from Pittsburg State University, my alma mater.
Originally from Pittsburg Kansas, my wife and I have been in the Kansas City area for 14 plus years with 11 years in Wyandotte County. With an education journey that has spanned 33 years, 9 of the years were spent as a teacher/coach, 9 years as a building principal, and 15 years as a school district superintendent. I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to work with some outstanding professionals, and be associated with wonderful students. Most recently I have spent the last 11 years as Principal and Superintendent of Piper USD #203.
Sometimes the journey of life is cyclical. After 30 years in public education, I felt a calling to return to my Catholic education roots where I can utilize my experience to help perpetuate and create opportunities for success in a faith filled culture. Having the opportunity to return to Catholic education is a blessing. As your leader you can expect a total commitment to high expectations, faith leadership, open communication, and the implementation of a vision that provides structure, relevance, rigor, and faith. I am grateful to serve as your principal beginning July 1 and I look forward to working and becoming acquainted with you!
God Bless,
"Grow in Christ, Learn with Christ."
