Faith at St. Patrick is essential to our mission. Without it, we wouldn't exist. In accord with the directives of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, we teach religion to all of our students.
Mass for grades 2-8 every Wednesday during the school year.
All school Mass for grades K-8 every Friday during the school year.
Sacramental Life
Students at St. Patrick attend Mass twice a week. Some teachers opt for weekly Adoration time in the Church as well. We believe that for religious education to be of worth, students' Sacramental and prayer lives need to be nourished.
Second grade receives instruction on First Reconciliation and First Communion. In addition, 8th grade receives instruction in preperation for Confirmation. Questions about our Sacramental preparation curriculum can be emailed to [email protected]
Grades PreK3-2nd
Grades PreK3-2 receive their religious education through Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). Through CGS, students are given the opportunity to learn about their faith in the context of a relationship with Jesus. CGS stresses the essentials in faith before teaching more in depth Catholic beliefs. For more information about this program, please visit: http://www.cgsusa.org/.
Grades 3-8th
Grades 3-8 receive religious education from our theology teacher. The curriculum focuses on areas of Sacraments, history, catechism, and more.
