Altar Society and Circles
All women of the parish are invited to join this organization as support members or circle members. A circle is a small group within the Altar Society which offers a variety of services to the parish and opportunities for friendship. Circles meet monce a month. The Altar Society general meeting is also monthly. The Altar Society assists parishioners who have lost a loved one by providing a luncheon after the funeral services are complete. Finance Council
Parishioners are invited by the pastor to serve. This council meets monthly to advise, guide and oversee parish finances. This council is advisory to the pastor.
Green Club
Men of the parish are invited to join this men’s social and parish support group which meets every other Monday at 7 p.m. Activities include sponsoring our Lenten fish dinners, participating in our annual Ice Cream Social and cutting the grass of the church grounds during the summer.
Knights of Columbus
All Catholic men are invited to join this spiritual/fraternal men’s group. The Knights support religious education, seminarians, prolife ministries and parish life. The group meets the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. The Knights regularly sponsor pancake breakfasts for the parish with proceeds benefitting seminarians and religious education. They also invite parish children to participate in vocation poster contests, free throw contests and more.
Pastoral Council
Parishioners are elected to a two year term. This council is advisory to the pastor regarding parish life and activities.
Social Concerns Committee
These volunteers cook and serve monthly at the local food kitchen, conduct collections for clothing, food, school supplies and Christmas gifts. This committee’s efforts reach far beyond the boundaries of the parish to help the needy.
Stiches of Love
This group of women meet every Monday at 1:00pm in the St. Patrick Room to grow in friendship and faith, to knit, crochet, and/or quilt. Completed projects are donated to the Kansas City Pregnancy Clinic for new mothers and babies. All are welcome, no matter faith or skill level!
