Becoming Catholic
In order to become a fully fledged Catholic, the Church requires each to go through a process of education called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops describes the RCIA as a process in which participants "undergo . . . conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments ." If you or someone you know would like information about the process of entering the Church, please contact Theresa Smith at [email protected] or 913-299-3370.
Returning to the Church
The Church always encourages those who have left the Church to return home. If you or someone you know would like information on returning to the Catholic Church, please contact our pastor by email or call 913-299-3370.
