Another word for Lent is Springtime! The word "Lent" was first used in the 13th century and it connects the new growth in nature in the Northern Hemisphere with the renewal that happens when we pray, fast and give alms to get ready for Easter. Please join us in our journey of renewal as we change our minds about how best to follow God. That's what repentance is, a "change of mind," a metanoia. Be assured of my prayerful support as as you experience the wonder, and the growing pains, of being formed as a disciple. Fr. Mark
P. Mark
